The Northern Virginia CFS/FMS support group presents Jonathan Gilbert, NCCAOM, Diplomate in both Chinese Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture. He graduated from the London Academy of Oriental Medicine, received his Hospital Residency Certificate at the Traditional Medical Institute, Saigon, Vietnam, and completed a twelve year apprenticeship in chronic illness with Dr. Phouc Huynh in the study of Jinkui Yaolue Theory and Practice. He has a special interest in the treatment of stress related illness, Fibromyalgia (FM/FMS) & Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS/CFIDS/M.E.). Jonathan Gilbert practices in the Baltimore/Washington DC area with co-lecturer Anita Bains MS, RN, CS-P, Advanced Practice RN, a psychotherapist experienced in both mainstream & alternative counseling methods, and Janine Blackman, MD, PhD, integrative family physician.
